Celebrating our Eighty-Seventh Year of Service

For 40 years San Rafael Rotary Club has had an ongoing student assistance program for graduating students of San Rafael High School. Each commitment is $5,000 and is granted to 4 graduating students who have been accepted to a 4-year university program.

Students are selected on the basis of their academic achievement, ability to succeed and financial need. Terms of these grants vary with individual student circumstances.

Interact Club

The San Rafael Rotary Club sponsors an Interact Club at Marin Catholic High School.  Interact is a service club for young people age 14-18.  Members of the Interact Club are responsible for planning, financing, organizing and executing their own projects under school and Rotary Club guidance.

Last year, Interact members operated an ice cream stand at the Marin County Fair to raise funds for a service trip to Colima, Mexico as part of Project Amigo.
